Permission to Rest

Who needs some rest? My hunch is that we're all experiencing that "tired but wired" sensation that we sometimes get right before bed. You know, where you can't stop scrolling through Instagram even though you *know* you should put the damn phone down and go to sleep already?

Who needs some rest?

My hunch is that we're all experiencing that "tired but wired" sensation that we sometimes get right before bed. You know, where you can't stop scrolling through Instagram even though you *know* you should put the damn phone down and go to sleep already? But on a mass, collective scale.

The pandemic just. keeps. going. The election is looming. The kids are back to school but everything looks different than we could've ever imagined. Some of it sweet, some of it heart-wrenching.

This week on The Transforming Anxiety Podcast, I want to talk with you about rest.

How can you tell when you're tired? What KIND of tired are you? How do you rest up?

And are you waiting for *permission* to get that rest?

Join me for this episode and we'll take a few minutes to explore rest together. It is, hands down, one of the most important things you can do for yourself. The world needs you healthy and rested. Anxious and exhausted hasn't been working so well, anyway, huh?

And let me hear from you! Comment below, text me (yup!), or connect with me on social media. I’d love to keep the conversation going with you, yes YOU, between episodes.

Join me on Facebook and come say “hi” over on Instagram

Text me at (816) 354-1279 and I’ll send mindfulness reminders, anxiety hacks, and little love notes your way from time-to-time…
