Our minds can be a powerful cushion between our bodies and the world. And the world, let's be honest, can be a bit much. We seek to turn down the volume on all the life out there by telling story after story about it in our minds. And we wind up living more in our heads, spinning our stories, than we live in our bodies, experiencing our lives.
